Two former Rangers head to Dallas posted 9/09/2006 11:05 p.m.

Eric Lindros and Mathew Barnaby, who were both New York Rangers prior to the lock-out, will start next season in Dallas. Injury-prone Lindros didn't get to stay too long in Toronto and journeyman Barnaby will be on his third team since leaving the Rangers.

Will either player make an impact? Barnaby always makes an impact, oft maligned by opposing fans but beloved by homers. Lindros has been tentative since the Scott Stevens hit forced him to sit out for a while with a concussion injury.

TheHockeyRating.com rated the players as follows for the 2003-2004 season:-

Rank  Player Games Points   Rating
132 MATTHEW BARNABY 82 41 80.55
451 ERIC LINDROS 39 32 35.76

Thumbs Up for Barnaby.
Thumbs Down for Lindros.
